The Ocotillo Community Association is located in south Chandler with the main monument located at Queen Creek and Price Road.  The Community encompasses approximately 1,900 acres and is still developing and growing. The planning of Ocotillo began in 1984. Unlike other master planned communities which are residential in nature with supporting commercial use, Ocotillo includes land for a large employment base (i.e. Intel and Orbital Science) supporting commercial and office sites combined with a full range of single and multi- residential housing surrounded by a abundance of recreational facilities including the renowned Ocotillo Golf Resort, professionally managed by Troon Golf. The Ted Robinson designed Ocotillo Golf Resort is privately owned with a layout of 27 waterscaped and picturesque golf holes, containing more water hazards than any other course in the state. The course has been honored in Golf Digest as “places to play”. The Golf Resort extends to the residents of Ocotillo privileges not available to the general public. The Ocotillo Golf Resort offers residents a discount play card valid for golf, Bernard’s Restaurant and Pro Shop. Ocotillo was designed to the highest quality of lifestyle possible and is a community where people can enjoy an attractive living and working environment.

The Ocotillo Community Association currently has over 3,500 memberships including residential, commercial, apartment and employment. Growth from new housing and commercial construction continues to increase. The most significant residential development in the past year has been the inclusion of Watermark by Camelot Homes. Other residential developments just beginning construction are Windward by Camelot Homes, The Villas at Ocotillo and The Bridges at Ocotillo. With two of the most popular commercial additions to Ocotillo being upscale office condo complex’s called The Fountains and Aquila at Ocotillo. The Villages at Ocotillo recently opened offering independent senior living apartments.
